Pet-sitting is easy money

Sorry it's been so long since I last wrote, been busy over the weekend and some of last week. The president of the company my mom works at has a daughter who left from Friday to this Wednesday and was looking for someone who could watch her pets while she was gone and was offering $25 a day to do so, so I figured why not, easy money. She has three dogs, two of them are a year old , Jovy and Oreo, and the other is not even a year old yet, Pipper. She also has two cats though I don't remember their ages but they are still fairly young, Spike and Spot, Spike almost looks like one of my aunt's cats which was pretty cool. I ended up staying there from Saturday until Tuesday so stayed there for 3 days, though I did learn something from that, I am not much of a dog person, they seem to always be so active, hyper and getting into trouble, I'm much more of a cat person. She did have a Wii and a PS3 over there so when the dogs were calm and settled down I would at times play some games on the Wii and others I would watch DVD's I  brought over on the PS3, mostly consisting of Jackie Chan movies as well as anime. Within the first five minutes of me being there the youngest dog, when I wasn't looking, got one of my gloves out of my hat on the chair and chewed it up, so now I have to buy some new gloves, oh well.
I started up Donkey Kong Country Returns again while I was over there but didn't get too far before I decided to play something else, the game I ended up playing most over there was The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, though since I started Sunday night and only did a little more of it on Monday I didn't get too far, only got past the third dungeon, but I can always do it again later on my own system. The movies I watched over there were Shanghai Noon, Shanghai Knights, and Rush Hour 2, well for non-anime videos anyways. I know I've got the first and third Rush Hour movies around my house somewhere but I just don't know where but I am positive that I have them, someday I'll find them.
I had brought over a number of series to the person's house while I was looking after her pets, they were, Love Hina, School Rumble Complete Collection (Seasons 1&2 +Extra Class OVAs), Trigun, Seto no Hanayome, Zero no Tsukaima, and Kanon. I ended up re-watching Zero no Tsukaima, I like that series, it's pretty funny and of course has romance so that's a plus for me, though I only have the first season on DVD so was only able to watch the first season when I was there, I'll have to watch the second and third again sometime later. When I was finished with Zero no Tsukaima I started Kanon (2006), though I only had time to watch one episode before I had to leave, but that's another series I really like, it's one of my favorites, and I'll definitely be re-watching it soon. Earlier tonight I watched some more episodes of Strawberry Panic, I'm up to episode 18 now and things are starting to spice up quite a bit, I left on quite a cliffhanger but I'll watch more tomorrow, only 8 more episodes to go, I hope things end well.
Earlier tonight I had gone out to get some things real quick from a quick shop and had ran into someone that I use to go out with, Jake, it's been ages since I've seen him and things didn't exactly end too well with him and I so it was a tad bit weird meeting up like that unexpectedly, we chatted for a couple minutes then both headed in our own directions, for the rest of the night I've had somewhat of a lonely and depressed feeling, though don't get me wrong, I don't still like Jake, but rather I'm just not exactly sure what I want anymore, how can someone else claim to know what I'm thinking when I myself don't even know. Ah well, anyways it is pretty early in the morning which is late for myself, so I think I'm going to get some sleep.

Jon Lajoie always makes me laugh

Sorry I didn't write yesterday, had some things going on and was hanging out with some friends, for the most part despite yesterday being Valentine's Day it was just a normal day for me, nothing out of the usual, though I like it that way. A couple of friends and I just ended up staying over at a friend's house Monday night, gaming, watching movies and random things that sounded like they would be fun, and overall it was a pretty fun night, we stayed up til about 7am til we went to bed. I had set my alarm on my phone for 1pm so I could get up, go to the store and buy a gift since it Tuesday was the birthday of someone in my family.
I didn't do too much over the weekend, mostly watch anime, game some, and spend time with my mom, we actually did not watch episodes on Sunday as usual because she came back from breakfast and had ate something bad cause her stomach was bothering her all of Sunday and most of Monday so she slept quite a bit, she is feeling better which is on the good side. While she was sleeping I decided to browse around for some images and found a few I liked which I ended up doing some renders of, I tried earlier today to use one in a new signature though it just doesn't seem right with it so I'll save it for something later, possibly a new profile picture on MAL or something of the sort I don't know, I'll figure something out. Though I am currently making a new signature with Eri Sawachika from the anime series "School Rumble" since she's always been one of my favorite characters on there, I'm not sure if I'll finish it up quickly before I sleep or just leave it be then finish it when I wake up, one thing I'm not sure of is if I want to make it an avatar to go with it or not, I might and might not, it's been a little bit since I've had a matching set but on the other hand I just love my avatar of Yui Hirasawa as a kid, she's just so adorable.
I did a little bit more of Fable 3 over the weekend out of boredom at times though there was a game I brought over that I usually don't, Dead or Alive 4, it took me quite a while to get the hang of the controls again after playing other fighting style games for so long but it was quite fun once I remembered what did what. I'd say my favorite characters to use on that game is Ayane and Kasumi, always have been my favorite in the whole of Dead or Alive games and never get old for me, I just love those two. Another character I like to use at times is Zack, he's always been another one of my favorites as well.
I planned on watching some more Strawberry Panic today but ended up not getting to it, I did watch some other episodes over the weekend though while I was visiting my mom's place. I had received my Seto no Hanayome DVD's in the mail Saturday morning before I left so that made me really happy, I started watching that almost as soon as I got over there and watched up to episode 7 I believe, I love that series so much, on Sunday I had watched up til episode 13, this series will never get old to me no matter how many times I re-watch it. I also watched some School Rumble again, I started where I last left off the weekend before which was episode 4 so I watched up to 7 on Saturday night then on Sunday had gone to about 13 or 14 then up to about 17 I think on Monday before I went to take a shower then head out to hang out with some friends.
Today I didn't do a whole lot, basically head home, spend some time with some family members and chat with some friends online, one friend did show me that Jon Lajoie came out with a new song earlier today named "Very Super Famous" and the video was up on Youtube, I was laughing so hard that I was crying, Jon Lajoie's stuff always makes me laugh, and it's always so catchy as well in my opinion, I've always loved his stuff. I did some arenas with that same friend later to get conquest point cap for the week and we did pretty well, though not much happened on World of Warcraft today for me, some friends and I did Baradin Hold and once again nothing for Mages dropped this week, oh well there's always next time. Depending on how some things work out with what's to come within our little group and guilds and what-not I may or may not switch factions to play with another friend, but not entirely sure of it yet, though I may level my Druid that's on Alliance since Restoration Druids seem quite overpowered in PvE and PvP, she's already level 74 so there's not too much to level up left, but I'm still not sure if I want to or not.
It would seem that I forgot to wash my pairs of shorts that I wear around the house before I left for the weekend so I'm kind of out of shorts for now, I'll have to wash them tomorrow, so I guess for tonight I'll just have to sleep without them for tonight and go with just some panties, definitely going to feel different. Anyways, thanks for reading.

Akeno Shiranui was my very first

For the most part, today was pretty much just like yesterday except there was no going out to lunch, I woke up around 10:30am and some friends came over at about noon so we did a little bit more gaming until they left around 1pm. After they left I decided to vacuum around the house, do the laundry, and do a bit of cleaning again. This entry may be short since there wasn't much that happened today and it is the same as yesterday for the most part in my opinion.
I got on World of Warcraft earlier than usual today since I usually watch episodes first then go to gaming though there was a good friend on a tad early today so I decided to jump on as well. A couple friends and I did some battlegrounds shortly after we logged on, did them for about an hour then stopped to do Tol Barad. Tol Barad definitely seems like it would be easier to win since you capture the nodes quicker than before, though we were on defense when we did it earlier and surprisingly we actually defended which I was happy about, a good amount of honor, though my friend was sad they made the herbs and mining nodes despawn until the battle is over. Later on I ended up running one of the friend's alts through Scholomance for a little while since I was a bit bored, it got him quite a few levels over the runs so he was happy about getting any sort of run throughs.
I haven't really done any image browsing today, the only images I've really gone and saved are some more scans of Seto no Hanayome, I should finish up the saves of all the scans from that series tomorrow, I kind of slacked here and there today. For the past couple days I've been addicted to listening to the opening songs, ending songs, and character songs from Seto no Hanayome, I just love listening to them all. I got an email a little bit ago saying that my two DVD's of Seto no Hanayome have been shipped out so I can't wait for them to come in, they should arrive sometime next week at the latest, would of been nice if the OVA was included but oh well. This is a bit random but still somewhat on the topic of Seto no Hanayome, my very first dakimakura pillow was actually of a character from the series, it is of Akeno Shiranui and I still have it, I've always liked her, but then again I've always liked all the characters from that series.
I watched some more episodes of Strawberry Panic today, I'm up to episode 9 out of 26 so far and I'm just loving it, I am absolutely dying to know more about one of the character's past from that series. I also noticed that Funimation also has Strawberry Panic on DVD's that you can buy online, so I figured if it all goes well I'll most likely end up buying the DVD's for that as well. So far my favorite characters of Strawberry panic are Nagisa Aoi and Shizuma Hanazono and I can't wait to look up some of the scans from the series once I've finished it. I'm almost coming up on the halfway mark for the series and I noticed there is a second opening and second ending somewhere in the series so I'm wondering how the songs will be as well as the opening and ending video to go with it, definitely looking forward to seeing those as well.
I can slowly feel my hours slipping back to being nocturnal which I'm not intending to do but it just seems to be happening, oh well I should really get to bed, it's pretty late or rather pretty early now, could be looked at both ways, anyways, good night/morning and thanks for reading. Oh also, I may or may not write a blog on Friday, it all depends on what's going on and if some plans are going to happen or not.

My Bride is a Mermaid

I had to wake up somewhat early to clean up a bit around the house since I had some friends coming over for a while around 10am. They got here around 10:15am if I remember right and it's been a while since we've hung out so for a while we just chatted to see what's all new with everyone, then we did a little bit of gaming on the 360, we played Dead or Alive 4 and had the had the winner stay in and who ever lost would pass their controller onto the next person, it was pretty fun, I've always loved the Dead or Alive games, I wish they'd come out with another Dead or Alive game but I highly doubt that is going to happen. At about noon we decided to stop gaming and go out to lunch, we ended up going to Old Chicago, it's been a while since I've been there but I love their food so I was happy to go there.
Later on in the day I did a little bit more gaming with some friends on World of Warcraft, one had asked me to go around with him in the Wrath of the Lich King dungeons just to make getting the ancestry coins from the elders go faster. When we were over in the Utgarde area we did Keep first then Pinnacle and decided to also do Pinnacle on heroic mode to see if the mount would drop for me since he already has it, he has some bad luck with dungeons but apparently has somewhat good luck with mounts, that or they upped the drop-rate of the Blue Proto-Drake because it dropped, though since it did I had to go and buy epic flying, but it's all for the best, so I'm happy.
I was watching TV earlier browsing through channels and came across a movie that seemed interesting to I turned it over to the channel it was on, the movie is called Sweet Home Alabama, with Reese Witherspoon and Josh Lucas as well as some others, I really liked that movie, it was funny and romantic, definitely one I'd watch again. One other movie I've seen with Reese Witherspoon is Four Christmases with Vince Vaughn, now that movie is hilarious, I've only seen it once and definitely want to see it again. Vince Vaughn is awesome, in my opinion he is a good actor and pretty funny.
I finished Sasameki Koto earlier today and I will say that I was a bit disappointed with the ending, I definitely did not see what I would have liked to happen so it's an alright series but I've seen better. Since I had finished Sasameki Koto I decided to start Strawberry Panic, one thing I wish was that the files I had downloaded were in 16:9 aspect ratio but they were 4:3, which I'm fine with. I intended to only watch 1 episode of it today but ended up watching up to episode 4, in my opinion Strawberry Panic is kind of addictive, I may only be 4 episodes in so far but to me the series is starting off very nicely and I'm glad the series is 26 episodes long because I know I am going to enjoy it very much. I was looking through my music folder and decided to listen to some of the Seto no Hanayome songs, which also got me looking through some of the scans from that series, it's been ages since I've actually watched it, I think about 1 or 2 years, but I absolutely love that series, it's one of my favorites. Which reminded me that Funimation had obtained the license to sub and release Seto no Hanayome in the US about a year ago, I believe they were released in June 2010 and August 2010, and I checked earlier today that they were still in stock so I got part 1 with episodes 1-13 and part 2 with episodes 14-26, so I ordered part 1 and part 2 earlier today online and since the total was over $50 I was able to get free shipping which made me happy, so I'm definitely looking forward to getting those in the mail sometime in the next week.
I had a bit of a headache earlier but with the help of a couple aspirin again it's gone, but I've stayed up later than I actually intended to so I am going to head on over to bed to get some sleep, I didn't sleep too well last night, anyways thanks for reading.

A series to watch after the next series

I had to wake up somewhat early today because I told my next-door neighbor I would help him do his grocery shopping since he's about 76 years old and with how he is I wouldn't want him carrying all of them from the car and up two things of stairs to get to the kitchen, I ended up getting myself a few things while we were out there so it worked out nicely. We were done and got back to the house sometime around 10am, took about 15 minutes to get all of the stuff into the kitchen, he just puts them where they go while I carry them from the car up to the kitchen table.
After all that I went home and decided to get on the computer for a little bit, ended up having to restart it because Firefox was acting a bit slow. So after that I decided to browse for some more images again since I came across another artist and didn't end up checking out some of his work last night so I went through it today and I like it, there's a few that I really like quite a lot, especially one of them. I had to go and re-look up a gif image on the same website I had found a day before to quote something I found pretty funny that someone commented on it so that I could mention it to a friend of mine randomly and see how he would react, he got quite a laugh from it. Which reminds me that I forgot to look up today to see if any of my favorite artists have any new work out but I'll just check tomorrow.
I would have forgotten there was a new episode of White Collar today if my dad hadn't mentioned something to me over the phone when we were talking, I'm so glad I didn't miss it, I really liked it quite a lot. Though I am a bit disappointed that there won't be a new episode next week which means I'll have to wait two whole weeks before a new episode of White Collar airs, I hate waiting so long for new episodes, especially when things end on a cliff hanger or give a really good preview, today's episode didn't end in a cliffhanger but the preview for the next episode looks so good I just can't wait to see it.
I watched some more episodes of Sasameki Koto today after I had looked up some images of the one artist that I talked about earlier, I said I'd only watch one or two episodes today but it's starting to get really good, it's all good before but it's just getting really good now towards the end, I went up to episode 11 today so I've only got two more to go, I'm really wondering how it'll end and  I'm liking the things I'm seeing so far so it's looking pretty good. I also started downloading some episodes of Strawberry Panic in advance today so I won't have to wait for the downloads to finish tomorrow when I start the series, can't wait to start it, it seems like it'll be a good series. When I was browsing around MAL I found an anime that had aired somewhat recently and is finished airing, called Fortune Arterial: Akai Yakusoku, again I'm not going to post the synopsis in here since they tend to be a little long and would extend the blog for a tad bit so I'll just leave a link down at the bottom as usual. One thing that really got my attention about it is the genres, the genres for this series are Comedy, Romance, School, Vampire, and Supernatural, and I really liked the series Karin which is a vampire series along with comedy, school, romance, and supernatural so I'm hoping Fortune Arterial: Akai Yakusoku is pretty good, I decided that I'll watch it after I'm done watching Strawberry Panic.
I had heard from a friend that today was patch day on World of Warcraft so I logged on today and turns out it is patch day. I've been waiting for this patch to come out for a couple weeks now just for a change in the fire spec tree for mages, the reduced mana cost of the Fireball spell as well as a few others and one of the biggest things I was happy about was the fact that Druids can't shape-shift out of roots/freezes now which I found to be pretty overpowered and frustrating, on the bad side I can't use Time Warp in arenas anymore but I believe it's a fair trade. I did a little bit of PvP with a couple friends on World of Warcraft earlier today and it was quite fun except for the fact that for the longest time we were losing one battleground after another, though the last one we did before we had to stop was a Warsong Gulch which we did end up winning so I was happy about that. A while after we had stopped doing PvP I decided to start leveling up my Hunter from 80 to 85 just to get a little bit more gold to send to my other character, I didn't get too far since I started rather late so I'm only about 25% left until level 81.
Well it is getting rather late so I think I am going to head on over to bed to get some sleep, I have to get up early tomorrow to do a couple things, so I am off to bed, thanks again for reading.

Another shoujo ai series next

Not much has happened today, it was rather quiet today to be honest, though it's nice every once in a while. I was visiting my mom over the weekend and woke up about 10am this morning to leave back to home, got home around 10:30am or so and decided to write a blog about what I did over the weekend since I didn't write Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. As I mentioned in that other blog, I will for sure write blogs Monday through Friday, though I'm still not so sure about writing them on the weekends, I may or may not depending on what's going on. One thing that kind of gets to me from somewhat going back and forth between this house and my mom's house is the temperature, it's always freezing at her house yet when I get back here it's always hot, especially the room I'm in at the moment which is where I sleep, it also has the computer in this room which doesn't help any, so if it get's too bad then I just open the window and let some of the cold air in, which I usually open it anyways when I go to sleep, I just love the cold when I'm sleeping.
Well since not much has really happened today I'm not exactly sure there will be much to write about so this may be a tad bit short compared to the others. After I had written the blog about my weekend when I got home earlier today I had a few things to do, such as vacuum again since, as I mentioned before, my cat sheds tons. Once I was done vacuuming I decided to do a little cleaning, such as doing the dishes and such. I think if I remember right I got done sometime around 1pm to 1:30pm.
Once I was finished I decided to do a little browsing around for images since I hadn't done that in a while, look up some of my favorite artists, such as Taka Tony, Kamiya Tomoe, and Tomose Shunsaku, those are my three favorite artists, I have more favorites but those three are the ones I look up the most. But I decided that rather than just looking at specific artists I'll just look at the "Popular" tab to see what other people have been viewing lately that's gotten the most hits for the day and the days before, it's been quite some time since I have viewed the "Popular" tab but I came across quite a lot of good finds that I ended up saving to the computer, such as the picture below, I don't remember if I found this one in the "Popular" tab or if it was from another search though I just think it's a nice picture.

Though in my search I also found quite a lot of unexpected finds, although as unexpected as they were I do quite like them, they are I guess you could say anime-ized pictures people have done of the computer game World of Warcraft, and since I somewhat play that game it was really neat to see pictures of it anime-ized and some anime-styled fan art of it. There was one artist that seemed to have done about all of his work as anime-style World of Warcraft pictures, I just loved them, I'm looking forward to more of his work soon and shall be checking on it daily. There was one in particular that I was really fond of, I'll put it below, I guess you could say it's a parody with two characters from the Touhou Project as some characters in World of Warcraft that are gender-swapped. On the left is Kamishirasawa Keine cosplayed as the lich Kel'thuzad, and in the middle is Inubashiri Momiji cosplayed as Arthas Menethil.

Since it's Monday, there was a new episode of Harry's Law today on TV, the more I watch the series, the more I like it. I can't wait until tomorrow when  a new episode of White Collar airs, I'm really curious as to how this season will end, though I'm in no rush for the season to end just yet, there's still quite a lot I'd like to know from this season. On the subject of series, I watched a couple more episodes of Sasameki Koto earlier today, I actually intended to watch more but other things came up so I only got around up to episode 7 today. I'm thinking of either finishing Sasameki Koto tomorrow or the day after, I've already got a series in mind that I'm going to start watching after I finish Sasameki Koto, which I should get downloading some episodes in advance. It's a series called Strawberry Panic, it's been on my plan-to-watch list for quite a long time but I've never gotten around to watching it so I decided since I've been watching a few shoujo ai series why not watch some more, I'm really looking forward to watching it. I would put the synopsis in here but it would be a tad bit much to put in here so I'll just leave a link at the bottom of the page as always with a link to it. I had thought that Strawberry Panic was 13 episodes long but I guess it's actually 26 episodes in total, I'm not too sure why I was thinking it was 13. The longer a series is the better I say, well for the most part, some such as Bleach, Naruto and such which are over 200 episodes long and still currently airing I just can't really watch, it's too many episodes for me, the only time I've watched a series that was that long is Dragonball Z, though I do like Dragonball Z quite a lot. So I'm not sure I'll really watch Bleach, and I know for a fact I'll never watch Naruto, I've heard so many bad reviews about it and it just doesn't seem like the kind that will interest me.
I thought today's blog would be relatively shorter compared to my other ones seeing as how there wasn't much that went on today but I guess it still is quite long, though I'd rather it be a bit long than too short so I'm happy with it. Anyways, I've got to get up somewhat early to do an errand or two so I should be getting to bed, thanks again for reading.

Random fun on New Year's Eve

Sorry I didn't write over the weekend, though in all honesty I probably won't write much during the weekends anyways since that's the time when I usually visit my mom until Monday. I should have written a blog on Friday though I kind of just got too tired to want to write it all up, so I just headed to bed without writing one. I'm very happy to see that over the weekend it didn't snow one bit, though there are still bits of ice on the roads in neighborhoods but other than that it's great out there, now if only the weather would heat up a bit. I can't wait until Spring comes so all this ice and snow will stop.
It was a great weekend, for some reason after finding out about some things on Fable 3 I was stuck to it for quite a while this weekend playing it. My last game story on Fable 3 wasn't too well, I had to end up breaking their promises to get enough money to fund the army to defend the kingdom, so my character took the role of a tyrant, which made me character look a bit more villain-ish which I wasn't too fond of. Though I did figure out a trick this time around on how to get enough money to fund the army and while keeping the promises I made with the others so that my character didn't turn out to be a tyrant. One decision as the Queen on there I do regret making though on that story, I chose to remove the drinking limits but I didn't know how bad it would be, going around town seeing every other person drunk and throwing up on the streets, I should have just kept the drinking limit the same as when Logan was King. Other than that I've had quite my share of Fable 3 this weekend and it was quite fun.
About a week ago when I visited my Mom's house I had only brought one anime DVD for myself to watch, and quickly found that to be a mistake, when the others were busy doing other things, I would watch the DVD, but I finished it quite quickly. So last weekend I came prepared, I brought 3 anime DVD's with me as well as volume 1 of my favorite manga to read, which I didn't end up reading since I just watched anime in the free time. The anime DVD's I brought along were Kanon (2006), the complete collection of Trigun, and "The Most Awesomeest Collection" of School Rumble, which includes the first season, second season, and the extra class OVA's. For Saturday I had watched Trigun since it's been a while since I saw that, I really like Vash, his kind and gentle nature yet how serious he can be when he needs to be. Though I only got to about episode 9 before I stopped to do some Fable 3. For Sunday I watched the first 4 episodes of season one of School Rumble, I just love that series, especially Harima, I think he's cute and awesome. If you're into the school, slice-of-life, comedy, romance series then I do suggest watching School Rumble, I think it's great. I never did get the chance to watch some of Kanon (2006) though I'll do that some other time, for now I think I'll re-watch Trigun and both seasons with the OVA's of School Rumble.
One thing I really enjoy is the fact that my Mom watches anime with me so I always bring up new series seeing which she'd like to see, I'm currently showing her the K-ON series, she's finished with the first and so I'm watching the second season with her, I've been meaning to re-watch the K-ON series so this was just great when she picked it out. The weekend before last weekend we had watched up to episode 5, though we had to hook the laptop up to the TV screen for a big view since for some reason the program I use to burn MKV files with their subtitles isn't exactly putting the subtitles on them, my guess is that they made it so you have to go with the Pro version and pay them for the subtitles to work, though to me that's just a waste of $35 when I could just download the episodes to the laptop and hook it up to the TV to show her, though I do have to find a better way to get the sound coming out, for now all I have is it coming out of the laptop's speakers at 100% volume on the computer and up to about 125% volume on the VLC media player which ends up being a tad loud, but it sounds good to me. We had only gotten to watch up to episode 7 this weekend instead of what we were planning on going to, 10, because of some computer/network issues that was getting on everyone's nerves, so we just quite at 7 for this time and will be going on from there next weekend.
A good friend of mine, Pat, that I've known since high school that I would hang out with quite a lot is moving sometime soon to Oklahoma because of family reasons and he'll be going to college while he's there is what I've heard from him, though he says once he's done with college he will come back since he has quite a few friends over here. There's no exact date as to when he is moving, all I know is it is sometime soon. He is the one that would always have everyone over for New Year's parties and such, last year's New Year's Eve party was just great, besides myself there were 2 other people there along with Pat, Jon and Collin. One of the highlights of that night for me was when Pat, Collin, and I went up to Walmart at about 11pm, Jon didn't go because he decided to take a little nap while  we were gone. Though we had gotten in Collin's truck to go up to  Walmart and he had started driving only for us to find that there was a thin layer of frost and ice on the windshield so we were driving almost blind for about half the way there, it was a bit scary though it was so much fun, we were all laughing and making jokes. Not to mention when we got up to Walmart once we had gotten the things we needed, which we didn't need anything we just went up there to get random snacks for the night, we just kind of wandered around inside for a little bit, looking and checking out random things in there just for the fun of it. We stayed there til it was about 11:55pm I'd say and when we were at the check-out we decided to hurry up and try to get back at the house by midnight, and being New Year's Eve with quite a lot of people drinking and what not probably wasn't the safest idea since there would be more cops out than usual, though we did it anyways and it was fun, we made it back by the time it was midnight to my surprise. All of that was the highlight of my night during last year's New Year's Eve party at his place, there's a lot more to that night though I'm not going to go on about the entire night, that would take quite a while to write, but it was a really fun night hanging out with all of them.
Well, I just thought I should write one for most of what I did on my weekend since I didn't write at all this weekend, there will still be one tonight with how today goes. I'm not sure if I'm going to choose to write ones on the weekends or not, I might and might not. Anyways I've got a few things to do so I'll wrap this one up, thanks for reading.

A resemblance to Sasameki Koto

It's been two days since it snowed, and I'm hoping it won't snow again for quite a while, I just hate shoveling, not to mention if it turns into ice and makes the roads slick. I'm not exactly sure when I started to somewhat dislike the snow but I just know that I dislike it for the fact that the snow and ice make the roads slick and increase the number of accidents. It sure can be a scary feeling being unable to control the car as it slides on the ice on the roads, happened to me a year ago, though thankfully it happened late at night when there weren't many people out driving so it just randomly slid a bit on the ice, I've never really been too fond of snow and/or ice since that night.
I received a link from a friend a little while ago of some stand-up comedy of Aziz Ansari, it's the first time I've seen his stand-up comedy but I do have to say, it sure made me laugh quite a bit, I know I'll be watching more of his stand-up comedy soon. Another stand-up comedian I really like is Larry the Cable Guy, he has always made me laugh. I've actually went to see his stand-up comedy in person once before, in my opinion that was money well spent, even though it started raining that day so everyone was wearing rain coats and it was somewhat cold, still worth it to actually see Larry the Cable Guy in person instead of through a television or on the internet.
I actually did a little gaming today, I played some Starcraft 2, it's been I'd say about a week since I last played it. I'll never get bored of playing as the Zerg, though I seem to always go mass Mutalisk when I play as Zerg. The Zerg have always been my favorite race to play as. If I had to choose one as my least favorite to play as it would probably have to be Terran, they can still be fun just in my opinion aren't as fun as the Zerg and Protoss, they can still be fun to play though. On the subject of games from Blizzard, one of their games I'm anxiously waiting to be released is Diablo 3, though it doesn't show any signs of being released anytime soon but I don't mind, from the previews and information that's out right now from Blizzard, Diablo 3 definitely seems like it's going to be fun, I can't wait to try it out someday.
I finished Candy☆Boy earlier today, as well as it's 2 extra episodes, I liked that series, could have had more of an ending though I got to see something that I wanted to happen so that enough makes me happy with it. Since Candy☆Boy is finished I started watching Sasameki Koto, there are 13 episodes total, so far I've watched up to episode 5 and I'll keep it 5 for today. After watching some of it I've felt something of a connection with one of the main characters, that her and I are somewhat alike, so I guess I sort of know what she's going through, but that's a story for another time possibly. I wasn't so sure about the series from the first episode, though the more I watched it kind of grew on me, to me it seemed as a rather sad and depressing series though it does have its moments of sadness and what-not, the series is still good in my opinion, and I'm definitely hoping it ends well, I guess only time will tell. The opening song to the series also has somewhat of a sad tone to it, though it's also very relaxing, I really like, and have been listening to it over and over again for the past hour.
As you can see, not much has happened today, but I'm not complaining, I like things the way they are right now, but nothing can stay unchanged forever. But for now, things are as they are, and I'm perfectly happy with that. Anyways I think that's about it for today, it's time for me to get ready for bed, thanks for reading.

Tempted to re-watch Karin again.

Today was a pretty good day over-all, I woke up and decided to vacuum since my cat sheds quite a bit, you wouldn't believe how much cat hair there was in the vacuum, I'd say most of everything that it picked up was cat hair, though my cat isn't too fond of the vacuum just because of the loud noise it makes. I figured since I was already up and about doing some things I might as well get some other things done that needed to be done this week, so I did the laundry and went grocery shopping.
I was working a bit in Photoshop to make another thing to add to my MAL "About Me" section but decided to use it for a forum signature instead. It took me a bit longer than I expected it to, though one part that got me stuck was where to put the username on it, it took me a good 15 minutes to half an  hour then I just finally decided to kind if split it in the middle down at the bottom. Although I am happy with the look of the outcome, I used a render I did earlier with my all-time favorite character Himari, from the anime series Omamori Himari. Ever since I started reading the manga she has always been my all-time favorite character.
On the topic of anime, I watched the 5th movie of Kara no Kyoukai(Garden of Sinners),
Kara no Kyoukai 5: Mujun Rasen, and I thought it was great, I absolutely love the Kara no Kyoukai movies, I'm looking forward to watching the next one soon. I also watched 3 more episodes of Candy☆Boy so I'm up to episode 5 now, the more I watch of that series the more I love it. I'm a huge fan of the romance genre in anime series. There are a few series that I do need to finish that I started quite a while back, such as Highschool of the Dead, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei, Motto To LOVE-Ru, and Shakugan no Shana S, I'll get back to them soon enough though. I do have a series I'm planning on watching after I'm done with Candy☆Boy, it's called Sasameki Koto, it's another Shoujo Ai series, I really like and am a big fan of Shoujo Ai series, I'm looking forward to watching it.
When I was going through the channels on TV earlier today I ran across American Idol and I never noticed that Steven Tyler is on there now, I love Steven Tyler, he's just awesome. Speaking of TV I did see a new movie today that was on TV a little bit ago, called "The Spy Next Door", with Jackie Chan in it, I thought it was a pretty good movie. I've always loved Jackie Chan, I think he's a great actor, I especially loved his Rush Hour movies as well as Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights, Owen Wilson in my opinion is also a great actor. I like a lot of movies with Owen Wilson in it but one I really really liked was "You, Me, and Dupree", I enjoyed that movie quite a lot.
One series I seem to be obsessed with lately is "Karin", I recently re-watched it and I think I may buy the DVD's of it sometime. My favorite characters out of that series are Karin, her little sister Anju, and Grandmother Elda. It is definitely a series I can re-watch many many times and it will never get old to me, I'm actually a bit tempted to re-watch it again shortly. I really like the opening and ending songs to that anime as well, I'll never get bored listening to those. If you're into romance and like vampires then I do suggest watching Karin, I think it's a great series.
Well it's getting a bit late, it is now 12:11am and I'm getting pretty tired so I think I'll head on over to bed. These blogs are pretty fun to write so I think for now I'll keep them a daily thing. As always thanks for reading.

Quite a lot of snow, and possibly more to come

Today was the first day in a while that I've actually been able to sleep past 7-8am, it felt great to be able to catch up on some sleep. It was a good thing I decided not to open my window the night before, because when I woke up it had snowed quite a bit and was still snowing. For the most part it has been snowing all day, we've gotten about 5 inches of snow today where I'm at, though that's not nearly as bad as some others are getting, I believe some people are even getting 2 feet of snow. It must really suck getting that much snow, shoveling 5 inches isn't fun but I can't even imagine 2 feet. I can't wait until Spring comes so it will stop snowing.
After shoveling I made a little food and waited for the new episode of White Collar to start, which was pretty good though not as good as some of the other episodes so far this season. On the topic of TV series I was rather disappointed at how short Burn Notice's season was a couple months back, and on top of that having to wait quite a long time for a new season to start, if I remember right the new season doesn't start until sometime around June or so, regardless it's still quite a wait.
Other than all the snow it's been a pretty good day today, as soon as I got some free time I continued working on customizing the "About Me" section on my MyAnimeList profile that I had started the night before. It took me a few hours but I finally did finish it, though I just did a simple look for now just to get things in there so it didn't look so plain, I figured I'll just customize it some more later, I'm happy with how it looks for now.
Even though it's been a good day it does have some downsides to it. I ran into one of my ex's this morning and I'm not too fond of him, he's the type that always like to brag and in a way rub it in other people's faces about new things he's done or has, it really gets on my nerves. The other downside, though not as big as running into one of your ex's in my opinion, is this headache that I've had for about an hour. It's not as bad as it was thanks to a couple aspirin, but still somewhat of an annoyance.
I did start another anime series today called "Candy☆Boy". I've only seen 2 episodes of it so far though it's a rather short series with it being 7 episodes (10 if you include the prequel episode 0 and the two extra episodes) and being only 15 minutes long each instead of the usual 24 minutes, though it is an ONA(Original Net Anime, meaning it aired on the internet). The genres of it are Comedy, School, Romance, and Shoujo Ai (love between girls), it's basically about the love between Sakurai Kanade and Sakurai Yukino who are twin sisters, I find it to be very sweet. If you want to know a bit more about it I'll leave a link at the bottom of this entry that has some more information on it.
Well it is currently 11:25pm and I'm pretty tired so I think it's time to call it a night. This blogging thing seems pretty fun so I may make it a daily thing, that or every other day. Anyways, until tomorrow, thanks for reading.
